FDLM WILL BRING ART TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF INWOOD

Art on the Ave NYC's Creative Spaces

New York - February 2024 - Art on the Ave NYC aims to spotlight artists who have been traditionally underrepresented, by enlist vacant retail storefronts to act as display spaces for  exhibitions. They work with local businesses to house art, offer promotions, and add a level of interaction for the community. Art on the Ave NYC believes that art can bring activity to the city and serve as a tool to instill a sense of confidence in a neighborhood.

"I'm happy and grateful to have been asked to join Art On The Avenue NYC's Creative Spaces roster. As I begin a new chapter  working in the Inwood storefront / studio and exhibition space, I'm looking forward to the experience and the art that will emerge from this residency in the neighborhood of Inwood. I also want to invite people to visit us and experience the art. " FdlM

Located at  4791 Broadway in Inwood NYC,  just steps from The Cloisters and Quisqueya Plaza, the new creative space is also open to host pop-up exhibits and events in an effort to connect with the artistic community.
